About Khorixas Lodge - Khorixas Restcamp (also known as Khorixas Lodge) is the ideal stopover between Etosha Park, the Kunene region and Skeleton Coast Park.
Nestled in the hills of Damaraland, it provides a relaxing environment for travelers, weary after a day's exploration.
The area is an explorer's paradise where guests can visit the land of the Welwitschia mirabilis at Burnt Mountain, curious stone formations, the petrified forest, ancient rock engravings and experience other unusual geological phenomena.
Accommodation at Khorixas Lodge - Khorixas Restcamp has a variety of rooms, chalets and camping available to suit the different budgets and needs.
There are two types of bush chalets available at Khorixas, chalet numbers 1 to 19 are large and more spacious while Numbers 20 to 26 are smaller and a camping site.

There are two types of bush chalets available at Khorixas, chalet numbers 1 to 19 are large and more spacious while Numbers 20 to 26 are smaller.
Most of the larger chalets have their own braai facilities, however chalet numbers 11, 13, 15, 17 & 19 have no braai facilities.
The smaller bush chalets at Khorixas have one braai area for every 2 rooms.
Some rooms have fridges in them, however this cannot be guaranteed.
There are also two family Chalet (VIP Chalets) at Khorixas Lodge which can sleep up to four adults in two air-conditioned bedrooms.
The bedrooms have built in cupboards and the chalet has a self-catering kitchen and is also equipped with a TV.
Camping at Khorixas Rest Camp - There are 20 campsites at Khorixas Lodge which share ablution blocks and a kitchen area
Nine of these campsites are on a lawn with braai facilities for those who want to pitch tents rather than travelling with roof tents.
Activities - Khorixas is the gateway to Damaraland and is situated in a fascinating geographical area and there are a number of geological features within an easy drive including the Petrified forest and Twyfelfontein with its ancient rock engravings.
While not exploring Damaraland, guests can cool down in the sparkling pool at Khorixas Lodge.
