Halali Resort sits at the heart of Etosha National Park, centrally located between Okaukuejo to the west and Namutoni to the east. It is the smallest and most intimate of the three main camps — nestled among shady Mopane trees and surrounded by some of Etosha's finest waterholes.
The camp's celebrated Moringa waterhole is floodlit and accessible on foot at any hour, drawing elephant, rhino, leopard, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest well into the night. A truly unforgettable experience — and one you can only have if you are staying at Halali.
Halali's most private and romantic option, featuring a double bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, and a secluded patio. The perfect retreat after a day's game driving through Etosha.
Well-spaced among the Mopane trees for genuine bush tranquility. All bush chalets include en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, large sliding doors drawing in the natural surroundings, and their own braai facilities. Available in 2-bed and 4-bed configurations.
In high demand and with good reason. The only units at Halali with both a self-catering kitchen and braai facilities. Secluded, with elevated patios overlooking the surrounding Etosha landscape — ideal for families wanting a full home-away-from-home experience.
Compact yet fully equipped double rooms, perfectly suited to guests who plan to spend their days out on game drives. Each room includes an en-suite bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, bedding, towels, toiletries, and a small patio sitting area.
A sprawling campsite shaded by Mopane trees, with generous spacing between sites. Each pitch has its own braai, power point, and light. Three shared ablution blocks with hot showers, wash basins, and toilets serve the site.
The main reason to stay at Halali is the floodlit Moringa waterhole — accessible on foot from within the resort at any hour. Imagine walking up the rocky path after dinner and watching elephant, rhino, leopard, giraffe and zebra come to drink under the stars.
The dry season from June to October brings the greatest concentrations of animals to the waterhole, but wildlife visits year-round. Cool nights and clear skies make waterhole watching particularly magical in winter.
Halali fills up fast, especially June to October. Book as far in advance as possible — family chalets in particular are in very high demand.
