Okaukuejo Camp is the most accessible camp in Etosha National Park from Windhoek. The camp is most famous for its floodlit waterhole, where visitors can observe a variety of wildlife at close quarters – both during the day and at night. Lions, elephants, and black rhinos are all very common sightings.

Okaukejo offers a wide variety of accommodation to suit the needs of all travelers with offerings ranging from premier waterhole chalets, family chalets, bush chalets, double rooms, to camping. The camp is equipped with all of the necessities to make your stay wonderful.

The camp has a restaurant and a bar for refreshment and socializing, a swimming pool, shop and a gas station for re-stocking and fueling up. The camp is also home to the Etosha Ecological Institute, which is open to visitors. If you are adventurous, you can participate in the guided night drives to spot nocturnal animals and observe wildlife behavior at nighttime. Guided morning and afternoon game drives are also offered here.

Okaukuejo is located 17 km from the southern entrance of the park, and famous for its flood-lit waterhole, where visitors can observe at close quarters a spectacle of wildlife congregating and interacting.
